Welcome to Little Oxplorers and our community campaign to get you exploring and enjoying the world outdoors through adventures big and small.

We want families to connect with the outdoors and appreciate what it has to offer — most of it for free! Get your Little Oxplorers reaping the benefits of fresh air adventures and soaking up experiences that a TV or tablet cannot match.

Our campaign will focus on outdoor inspiration and child friendly events and activities in Oxford and beyond. We aim to motivate you to get out exploring and discovering with your Little Oxplorers, following paths you may have trodden before as well as introducing you to new ones. For days when you want to stay closer to home we have back garden adventures and games galore to engage little ones.

Oxford has so many beautiful outdoor spaces: nature reserves, woodland and parks. Make the most of it! Be part of the conversation and share your own ideas and experiences of places you have visited; you may discover somewhere new along the way.

We’ll also be asking for your help to name our two little Lego pals. What intrepid adventurers or explorers could they be named after? Is he an Alastair after Alastair Humphreys? Is she a Lois after Lois Pryce? Never heard of them? Look them up and get inspired! Follow us on our social media platforms to have your say: Twitter, Facebook and Instagram

We hope you and your Little Oxplorers enjoy sharing outdoor adventures together with us, rain or shine. Come join us!
