It’s been such fun going wild for ‘30 Days Wild’ in June, but it doesn’t have to end here! We’ve been in awe of the many random acts of wildness shared by others and we’ve decided to share ours too! Below you’ll find our list of 30 wild activities that we enjoyed throughout June, and the sources that inspired us. We plan to keep going, after all, life is only as wild as you make it!

1. 50 things to do with urban toddlers; we made a den in the back garden!

2. Feel inspired by ideas from 30 Days Wild; we tickled our toes with grass in Bury Knowle Park!

3. Go to Spindleberry Nature Park and meet the Spindleberry Dragon!

4. Get out and play in the rain

5. Be inspired by these 30 wild ideas; we had a picnic in Hinksey Park.

6. Make like a bird in Raleigh Park and build a giant bird’s nest!

7. Go on an epic nature walk in Rivermead Nature Park

8. Make mini beast habitats

9. Go out for a wild walk in Oxford

10. Visit a forest you’ve never been to before…a real adventure!

11.Visit Cutteslowe Park armed with these kids nature activities

12. Try a bug investigation activity in Botley Park

13. Explore all 5 senses in your back garden

14. Make a mini woodland, head to Wytham Woods for inspiration

15. Go on a back garden safari

16. Head to forest the with these Forest School activity sheets or join in on an Oxfordshire Forest School session

17. Make a mini ecosystem with the kids

18. Go on a woodland walk to Magdalen Woods and pack it full of fun nature activities

19. Visit Shotover Country Park and collect delights for a seasonal Discovery Bottle

20. Make a birdbath, especially important for animals in the heat

21. Head to Bernwood Forest and collect sticks and leaves for sticktivities

22. Find one of Oxfordshire’s best hills to run down. Weeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee!

23. Make a bee hotel and watch as your guests check in

24. Go on a nature scavenger hunt in Florence Park

25. Have a snail race

26. Go to Waterperry Gardens on a flower hunt

27. Make a bird kite, go to the top of South Park and fly!

28. Head out to Grandpont Nature Park and count slugs, especially if it’s been raining!

29. Have lots of fun doing muddy activities and getting really really muddy in the back garden

30. Make a twig raft and sail it at the C.S Lewis Nature Reserve
